The Nana Addo mackerel products which have flooded mini markets, have reportedly become the customers’ favorite!
Supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), who are still in awe of Akufo-Addo’s victory, have taken their celebrations to a whole new level. These overjoyed loyalists have devised various means to express their happiness over the NPP’s massive victory in the elections.

Nana Addo who has been in opposition for eight years, finally won the general elections to the surprise of many. The just concluded elections saw Nana Addo of the NPP, win 53.83 percent of the total votes cast; against President Mahama’s 44.40 percent, to become the fifth President of Ghana’s fourth republic.
In the spirit of celebration of victory, supporters of the party have in recent times, associated almost everything with the win of the President-elect.
The latest report making wave in the internet at the moment, is that of new Akufo-Addo branded mackerel products in various Kenkey joints. The Nana Addo mackerel products which have flooded mini markets, have reportedly become the customers’ favorite.

There have also been reports of traders reducing the price of their goods in support of the new government. According to reports from Daily Graphic, there have been a massive reduction on the price of ladies’ weave-on, a situation which attracted more women to patronize some of the products. The same thing has also been said of men’s shoes, babies’ clothes, etc.
While it has not been confirmed whether indeed prices of goods have been reduced as a show of good faith for the incoming government, sellers of the Nana Addo mackerel say it has become the delight of customers since it was introduced.
