The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Deputy Communications Director Perry Okudzeto has stated that the party’s presidential nominee Nana Addo Dankwa-Akufo Addo is the Joshua of Ghana’s time to rescue Ghanaians from the doldrums of Mahama-led administration.
Speaking with host of Abusua Nkommo on Abusua FM Kwame Adinkrah, he indicated that Nana Addo is the only leader who can solve the problems of Ghanaians by changing the fortunes of Ghana.
Former President John Agyekum Kufuor also said Nana Addo is Ghana’s Joshua to liberate suffering Ghanaians from the Mahama-led National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration.
The Deputy Communications Director said the party is inspired by the numbers that trooped into the final rally at the Accra International Trade Fair Centre, expressing hope that the numbers will translate into votes.
Mr Okudzeto believed Ghanaians have dissected their campaign messages and will thus vote for them during December 7, polls.
‘We are inspired by the numbers we saw yesterday, we thank Ghanaians for their support, we believe they have dissected our manifesto and will vote for us on December 7 to liberate Ghanaians from hardships. Just like former President Kufuor said Nana Addo is the Joshua of our time in 2016 to lift Ghanaians from the doldrums of the Mahama administration,’ he envisioned.
He hinted that the party led by its flagbearer will go on a float today in all the 275 constituencies to educate Ghanaians on the voting process.
He said the float will start from Nima through to all the constituencies.
‘We will go on a float today led by Nana Addo to encourage all our members in all the constituencies on how to vote. We are encouraging all our parliamentary candidates to come out and educate Ghanaians on how to vote on December 7, 2016. Its a reminder education float to create awareness that nobody should sit on the defence,’ he explained.
