Kofi Adams has called on Ghanaians to be smart enough to look past Nana Addo’s verbal affirmations and focus more on his actions. According to him, if Nana Addo truly believes in Ghana as he claims, why then should he opt out of such important debate, organised by relevant state institutions -GBC and NCCE. He said this while speaking to host Fiifi Banson on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.5 FM.

The NPP yesterday, turned down an invitation to a debate organised by the National Commission for Civic Educatiion (NCCE), for presidential candidates contesting the general elections. The major opposition party gave its reason to be that; it was already preoccupied with a lot of equally important things and would not sacrifice any for the debate.
But Kofi Adams has expressed great displeasure on the issue, which he says has squashed incumbent President Mahama’s opportunity to shed light on his plans for Ghana. According to him, it was a fine opportunity for Mahama to get an endorsement on the platform, in relation to his good governance and the tons of development projects, delivered to Ghanaians in the past four years.
Out of the seven presidential candidates contesting in next week’s polls, five of them participated in Wednesday’s debate. In attendance were; President John Mahama and Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, Independent Candidate, Joseph Osei Yeboah, People’s National Convention (PNC)’s Edward Mahama and Convention People’s Party (CPP)’s Ivor Kobina Greenstreet.
