The inaugural Namibia Color Run sporting concept is set to hit Namibia on April 29 next year at Trustco United Grounds in the capital, Windhoek, according to Event organizers.
Namibia was the only country missing out in the region after South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana hosted their own events.
Regional Director for the race and Event Director, Bright Gumbochuma, on Monday said the Namibia Colour Run involves participants of all abilities and ages.
According to Gumbochuma, the run is entirely focused on fun so there is no competitive atmosphere, no recorded times and no age restrictions
“We believe that the Namibians have embraced our concept beyond our expectations and we are certainly going to have the biggest running event that has ever been hosted in the country,” he added.
Registration for the event will begin on December 1. Enditem
