Tufuhene of Ekumfi Immuna in the Central Region, Nana Kwesi Katu (IV) has said that the Mahama-led government has neglected them for too long and they have therefore decided to change their voting pattern.
According to him, President John Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have neglected the people of the area, especially in the provision of roads, despite the sacrifices and loyalty of the people to the NDC since the onset of the 4th Republic.
“I have been an NDC member for so many years but they have neglected the people Ekumfi and have taken us for granted for far too long.
“Our roads have been in a deplorable state and calls on them to get it fixed have always proved futile. In fact we are tired. If you don’t agree with me, drag me to court” he stated.
Nana Kwesi Katu IV expressed these concerns when the Adansi Asokwa Member of Parliament, K. T. Hammond was installed as the development chief of the town at the launch of their youth wing Tuesday.
Nana Kwesi Katu insisted that he and his people could no longer be part of a party that continues to neglect his people and one where the top brass enrich themselves, while the masses who support them continue to suffer.
He said he will therefore encourage his people to massively vote for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming polls.
