The running mate of Nana Akufo-Addo, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is still pursuing Vice President Paa Kwesi-Amisah-Arthur to provide a befitting response to the former’s 170 “facts” on the state of the economy.
Dr. Bawumia, who is a former Deputy Governor at Bank of Ghana, is surprised that the Vice President who is head of government’s Economic Management Team is playing hide and seek with those questions.
Dr. Bawumia was speaking at a youth rally organized by the NPP Youth Wing at Mooree in the Central Region, the backyard of the Vice President.
He said he relished meeting Amissah-Arthur to debate him on the 170 issues bothering on Ghana’s economy.
Dr. Mahamudu who was the special guest of honor at the rally reiterated promises made by the party’s flagbearer including restoration of the teachers allowance and job creation.
He called on the youth to reject the ruling government and join the wind of change which is blowing across the country. He promised the electorate that Akufo-Addo-led government will stop pair trolling.
The running mate also condemned violent attack on the family of Nana Akufo-Addo on Sunday morning.
Acting General Secretary of the NPP John Boadu promised the NPP supporters that the party will pursue the matter until those involved in the violent act are brought to book.
Sammy Awuku the National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party said only an NPP led government can restore hope to the Ghanaian youth and the business community.
