Ghanaian Muslims who will be embarking on this year’s Hajj have been assured of good quality and stress-free services from the Hajj Board.
Speaking to Class News on Tuesday March 21, the Deputy Communications Director for the Hajj Board, Alhaji Raman Zak, assured that unlike last year when pilgrims got stranded and faced unpleasant experiences, several arrangements had been made to make life comfortable for the pilgrims this year.
He said pilgrims’ feeding and accommodation, among other needs, have already been arranged in advance, stressing that “there will be no cause for alarm”.
Alhaji Raman Zak also disclosed that a total of 6,200 pilgrims were expected to embark on this year’s pilgrimage to Mecca, the number being an increase from the usual 5,000 allocated to Ghana.
