In a video which has gone viral, A-plus calls Mahama greedy for allegedly refusing to vacate his residence after his tenure had elapsed.
Reports on Former President Mahama’s refusal to vacate his residence, has greatly angered Ghanaian musician A-plus. The outspoken and fearless musician has taken a swipe at the former President regarding his rather unusual decision to “hijack” the residence which is meant for incumbent Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

After losing to Nana Addo in the December 2016 elections, it was believed Mahama would vacate his place of residence; Bungalow No.3, Prestige Link, Cantonments, Accra. But controversy ensued when it was reported that the defeated President requested to keep his residence -now official residence of the Vice President, as his official retirement home.
The fact that Mahama requested to maintain the residence which he has occupied while as both Vice and President of the republic; as part of his ex-gratia however, did not go down well with the new government. Several key figures in the new government, have asked the defeated President to vacate the said residence, to enable the current Veep settle in.

This development has brought about mixed reactions on the media. Many critics have opined that Mahama’s continued presence at the Cantonments residence, is unlawful and has also left incoming Vice-President Mahamudu Bawumia, with nowhere to live.
A-Plus who happens to be one of the critics, chose a rather drastic way to speak against Mahama’s actions. The entertainer made a video where he lambasted the former President, as he tried to call him to order. In the video which has gone viral, A-plus calls Mahama greedy for allegedly refusing to vacate his residence after his tenure had elapsed.
A-Plus fumed over the issue, as he called Mahama greedy, for not being content with his juicy retirement package. The musician also wondered why Mahama would not vacate his residence despite the enviable ex-gratias he has received over the years; having served in almost all levels of government -as an MP, VP, and President.
