MTN Ghana, the Country’s Largest Telecommunications Service Provider has so far invested over $2.5 billion towards the improvement of its network.
The company has also spent $96 million on network and information systems including the rollout of their 4G network .
This was made known by the Customer Relations Executive , Jemima Kotei Walsh, during the Greater Accra Customer Soiree .
According to him, their investments are yielding positive results . This is evident in the NCA Quality of Service results .
From January 2014 to date , MTN Ghana has passed all Quality Service monitoring tests in voice and data conducted by the National Communications Authority(NCA) in all ten regions of Ghana.
” We have made a lot investment in training our staff and bring them up to speed . This year, MTN was adjudged the GITTA Customer Company of the year Award for the third consecutive time”, he noted.
Throwing more light on Y’ ello Soiree, he explained that the event is all about celebrating their valued customers . It is obvious that, over 17 million of customers are the bedrock of our business and we have close attention to them.
This he said, the event is the second to be held in Accra. MTN initiated Y’ ello Soiree last year to create an informal engagement between MTN Executive leadership and our valued customers. Since the maiden edition, a similar engagements have been held in Kumasi and Takoradi.
