“The most annoying part is that some of these contractors are members of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC),” he said.
Mr Agbodza, who was addressing some chiefs and people of the District as part of his “accounting to the people tour”, made particular mention of the Ho-Adaklu Kodzobi road, the on-going Community Senior High School and the CHPS compound at Adaklu Kodzobi.
He said it is not true that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government had neglected the District and catalogued a number of developmental projects including 30 classroom blocks, CHPS compounds, upgrading of feeder roads and the provision of water by government.
Mr Agbodza reiterated government’s effort at improving the lots of the citizenry and urged the electorate to reciprocate government’s gesture by voting massively for the NDC.
Mr Emmanuel Sky Ganaku, the District Chief Executive (DCE), advised the people not to be swayed by “sweet tongued politicians” who were going round deceiving people for political power.
Togbe Dzegblade IV, Chief of Adaklu Kodzobi, appealed to politicians to refrain from the campaign of insults saying “remember we have only one Ghana, which we all must work to protect and develop”.
