A 23-year-old mother, Esther Adjei, has beaten her 9-month-old baby boy, David Boateng, to death.
The sad incident occurred at Amaduma-Adankwame near Nfansi in the Atwima Kwanwoma district of the Ashanti region.
Esther, mother of the deceased is currently in Police custody at Nkawie.
Assembly member for Nkawie community, Akwasi Kyere, told Starr News that the body of the baby has been deposited at Afari community hospital morgue for autopsy.
According to Ultimate FM’s Isaac Bediako Justice, Esther attacked her baby for no apparent reason.
