Several people are said to have collapsed at the funeral grounds of the late Asantehemaa, Nana Afia Serwaa Kobi Ampem.
The causalities are said to have suffered shock due to gunshots being fired and others dehydrated after standing in the sun for a long time.
A member of the Red Cross Society in an interview with Nhyira Fm reporter Bernard Kusia Appiah revealed the majority of those who collapsed have been referred to the hospital for further treatment.
He indicated that, after screening the patients, it emerged that some were sick but failed to take their medicines before coming to the funeral grounds.
The healthcare provided used the opportunity to urge the public to alert the health personnel if they start feeling dizzy to avert any problem.

Nana Afia Serwaa Kobi Ampem will be buried on Thursday night at the Breman Royal Mausoleum (Ban mu) after a brief stopover at the Bantama Royal Mausoleum (Ban mu) where some traditional rites will be performed.
