News Ghana has observed with keen interest the increasing number of major roads in the capital been turned into refuse dumps and wish to call on the Metro Authority to rise to the occasion.
Places such as the Kaneshie-Accra stretch and the market, Lapaz Tema Station area and around Tudu are but a few of the places where rubbish are been dumped on the streets.
It is also observed that, Ghana’s major waste recycling company, Zoomlion tour these areas to collect the rubbish. News Ghana seeks to suggest that, instead of collecting rubbish from the streets on daily basis, rubbish bins should rather be provided at these areas with proper security measures to ensure proper sanitation.
