Vetting continues amidst disparities between the Majority and Minority sides in Parliament on the continuance of the vetting process.
Minority Members Wednesday boycotted the process in Parliament after a supposed decision between both sides to go on break after the batch on Tuesday and resume later in May was breached.
Members on the Minority side said the continuance, despite the agreement between the two was an effort on the Majority’s side to impose the vetting on them.
Majority on the other hand dismissed the claims, according to them, Minority Leader, Mr Iddrisu said his side could only cooperate up to Wednesday, for reason that they were tired and needed some rest, they therefore proceeded to vet six other deputy Ministers.
The process is still ongoing with Joe Osei Owusu, Chair of the Appointments Committee at the helm of affairs.
Currently, Deputy Minister-designate for Defense, Major Derek Oduro (Rtd) is being quizzed on issues pertaining to his portfolio.
