The 45-year-old youth organizer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Oyarifa, who challenged president Mahama during the party’s presidential primaries, is now running mate for an independent candidate.
George Boateng has accepted to be the running mate of Lawrence Jamial Kutin who is seeking to contest the 2016 general elections as an independent presidential candidate
The 41-year-old Electrician who hails from the Volta region recently picked forms to contest in the 2016 election.
Kutin who is also an NDC member too says he is contesting because the NDC government lead by President John Dramani Mahama is failed woefully.
Mr. Jamial Kutin is promising the end the power crisis known in local parlance as dumsor which he says the Mahama-led government has failed to solve.
Based on this vision, George Boateng said he is more than prepared to help boot out President Mahama out of power.
Citing the unbridled corruption and untoward hardship on Ghanaians, he maintained that, “we will be signing our death warrant if the NDC is retained in power”.
