Former President John Dramani Mahama has visited survivors of Sunday’s disaster that struck revellers at the Kintampo Waterfalls in the Brong Ahafo region.
The disaster has so far claimed 19 lives with 15 of them coming from the Wenchi Senior High School who visited the tourist site to end a two-day field trip.
The former President on Monday sent his sympathy to the victims through social meia.
“Let’s also ask the almighty God to heal the injured and receive the souls of the departed into his kingdom,” he wrote on facebook before visiting survivors at the Wenchi Methodist Hospital on Tuesday. Read more here
