With 10 days to go before the December 2016 election, political parties have introduced several campaign schemes intended to attract votes.
One of those schemes involves printing pictures of candidates on products and distributing them to the members of the public for free.
A sachet of rice branded with a picture of President John Mahama is the latest campaign product to go viral on social media.

“Desperation paa nie…at this rate I won’t be surprised if they have started sharing Mahama branded condoms n alomo. Tweaaa Sadly, it’s all coming from people’s hard earned taxes,” Facebook user, Naa Ayeley, said on Sunday.
Earlier, YEN reported that the National Democratic Congress’ parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso West Constituency in Accra, Delali Akwasi Brempong, provided the University of Ghana with a truck-load of sachet water, with his face and the NDC logo boldly printed on the sachets.
