President John Mahama and two of Ghana’s former Presidents, Jerry John Rawlings and John Agyekum Kufour joined many distinguished Ghanaian leaders and sympathizers who attended the funeral of Madam Florence Taiwo Naa Akweley Bruce, late mother of the leader of the Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams.
The solemn event attracted thousands of Ghanaians who gathered at the forecourt of the Church premises at on the Spintex Road in Accra to bid farewell to the 84-year-old woman.
She was survived by six children including Archbishop Duncan-Williams who is a revered religious leader in the country.
Archbishop Duncan-Williams took the opportunity to pray for the country and the upcoming December 7 elections.
He also prayed for God’s guidance for the President, John Mahama.
