A communication team member of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) is convinced President Mahama is under a spiritual attack.
According to Nana Boakye, the President Mahama speaks as someone who is “possessed by evil spirits or being haunted by a ghost” anytime he mounts the podium to speak.
His comments is in reaction to President Mahama’s recent personality attacks on NPP flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
The President during his campaign tour of the Northern region described the NPP leader as a “dictator” and a “dangerous” political figure who will plunge the country into chaos if elected president.
He also added that, the three-time NPP flagbearer is very “divisive” and also ‘sleeps during his campaign tours’, therefore, fails to see the development projects undertaken by his government.
But Nana Boakye on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Friday said he is not surprised by the conduct of President Mahama.
He indicated that President Mahama who has had 38 people suspended in his party does not have the moral right to called Akufo-Addo a dictator.
The NPP youth activist noted that, if Nana Akufo-Addo is a dictator then President Mahama is an ‘antichrist’ for supervising the suspension of 38 people in the NDC.
Rather than addressing the myriad of problems the country is facing, Nana Boakye said the President has reduced his bid for re-election to manifesto of lies and insults against Nana Akufo-Addo.
He urged President Mahama to leave such trivial issues to his party serial callers and focus on the bread and butter issues caffecting Ghanaians.
