A Level 400 student from the University of Ghana believed to be Jennifer Nyarko jumped off her balcony at dawn.
The sad incident is believed to have occurred at 4:45 am. She fell from the fourth floor balcony in her room Akuafo Hall,Annex A.
The school authorities were alerted by an alarmed passerby who saw the body around 5am.
Unconfirmed reports suggest it was an act suicide as most of her friends suggest that she had a bipolar disorder.
However, some students held the view that she was sick hence might have felt dizzy and fell of the balcony.
Meanwhile, hospital sources say she was dead upon arrival with deep cracks on her skull.
Jennifer Nyarko, was a former student of Krobo Girls Senior High school and was offering consumer science in the University of Ghana,Legon.
