The Convention People’s Party (CPP) says it will today (Tuesday) pick a presidential nomination form for its flag-bearer, Ivor Greenstreet, and set to announce a running mate by September 28 to partner him in this year’s presidential election.
The First Vice Chairperson of the CPP, Hajia Hamdatu Ibrahim Haruna who revealed these to Onua said CPP has settle on a man as running mate but did not disclose who that person is going to be.
However, checks by Onua has revealed the Vice Chairman for the Public Interest Accountability Committee, Kwame Jantuah stands tall among the candidates being considered as running mate.
Mr Jantuah is a lawyer cum politician and Oil & Gas consultant and services provider with specialty in both upstream and downstream.
Hajia Haruna said the chosen running mate will be outdoored at an event that will also be used to launch the party’s 2016 manifesto. All these, she said, will be done before September 28 which is the deadline for the submission of the nomination forms.
