The final day for the second batch of ministerial vetting starts with Kwaku Ofori Asiamah. He is Minister-designate for Transport and is currently being grilled by members of the Appointments Committee.
Renowned heart surgeon Professor Kwabena Frimpong Boateng who is Minister-designate for Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, and Joe Ghartey Minister-designate for Railways Development, will also appear before the committee today.
The process begun on Friday, 20th January, 2017 with the vetting of Senior Minister nominee Osafo Maafo. So far, twenty two (22) of the minister nominees have been vetted.
President Nana Akufo-Addo has announced 36 ministers-designate since he assumed office as President of Ghana on 7th January 2017.
