The Management of Koforidua University of Technology (KUT), has banned the sale of handouts to students.
The decision forms part of measures by the management body to mitigate financial burden on students.
Lectures are expected to upload their teaching materials on an electronic-platform for their students to access.
The Vice Chancellor of KUT, Prof. Smile Dzisi, revealed this on Saturday during the 21st matriculation ceremony of the school.
A total of 2,417 students out of the 3,617 applicants offered admission successfully registered to pursue courses in Bachelor in Technology, Higher National Diploma and Non-HND programs putting the total population of the University to 6,338.
