Actress and movie producer, Nana Ama Mcbrown, has debunked rumours that there’s an unresolved grudge between herself and movie colleague, Emelia Brobbey.
According to her, she holds no bitterness against Emelia, stressing that they are good friends and colleagues who communicate and meet whenever necessary.
The versatile actress questioned why people have inculcated the habit of spreading unfounded rumours about others for reasons best known to them.
Speaking with Nana Hemaa on Abusua FM’s Abusua Mmre, she explained that she is now a married woman and has lots of duties on her hands and that do not permit her to regularly visit Emelia who is equally a busy person.
‘Who are those spreading the false rumour. I even met Emelia last week after she had picked one of her children from school. We had a chat and I even played with her child before we all drove our cars to our various homes. Don’t hesitate to call me on phone anytime you hear such rumours; it’s not true that we are fighting, Emelia will attest to what I am saying, we used to hang out a lot when we were young and not married, we could go home anytime we wanted to, but now we all have busy schedules, I am married now and I have to be taking care of my husband and cooking for him.
“Emelia too has responsibilities of taking care of her children, so we hardly meet, there is a wide distance between her house and mine where I stay with my husband, we have been working together, there is no wrangling between us, ignore rumour mongers,’ she explained.
She called on the public to ignore such rumours adding that people just want to create unnecessary tension between them.
“There are no unfriendly feelings between us,” she added.
