Award winning artiste, Emmanuel Botchwey, known by his stage name Kwaw Kese has revealed that he did not submit his music for an award this year.
The CEO of MadTime Music noted that though he works tirelessly to release good music yet the end result is nothing to write home about.
“I’m not submitting any music for an award. Sometimes you submit the work and the results don’t come out good. I’m thinking about making lots of money to take care of my family and brand,” Kwaw Kese said on Hitz FM.
Kwaw Kese is well known for his hit album Abodam 2007 from which he won 5 awards at the 2008 edition of the Ghana Music Awards.
A section of the public have questioned the credibility of the most-anticipated and much-talked-about awards scheme (Vodafone Ghana Music Awards) and the award scheme dogged by controversy following artists who sometimes emerge as winners.
