President John Dramani Mahama has told Ghanaians he did his best for the nation under his four-year leadership, but would allow history to be his judge as he leaves office this week.
The president was delivering his last State of the Nation Address to the Sixth Parliament on Thursday, a requirement enshrined in Article 67 of the 1992 Constitution.
President Mahama in an unusually short address said everything he did under his tenure was done with “good intention”.
He maintained rather humbly, “I have done my best, given my all”.
