Edmund Kyei a member of the ruling NPP communication team has reacted to erstwhile communication minister Edward Omane Boamah’s comments that Ghanaians are fast losing hope in Akufo-Addo and his government.
In an exclusive interview with this reporter, Mr. Kyei condemned the words of Mr. Omane Boamah describing his remarks as unfair as President Akufo-Addo has just started his work at the presidency.
He said, “Who said the people of Ghana are losing hope? The good people of Ghana believe in President Akufo-Addo and he shall not fail them. He will deliver on his promise.”
He assured Ghanaians that the Free SHS policy is just the tip of the iceberg, as all the promises made to Ghanaians including the restoration of teacher and nursing trainee allowances, rebuilding of a stable and robust economy, repayment of DKM victims money, free education and restructuring of the NHIS shall all be honoured in due time.
“It is too early for Mr. Omane Boamah or the opposition NDC to access the incumbent government. You served your 8 years in power and based on your inputs Ghana made her verdict. Leave Nana Addo alone to serve his four year term before you come out with your assessment report, but certainly not now; it is too early,” he said.
