President John Dramani Mahama has re-echoed his promise to bring Ghanaians to together in his second-term and open opportunities for all irrespective of one’s background.
“I shall be Father of all” Mahama told thousands of charged supporters at the NDC’s last rally held at the Accra Sports Stadium Monday, December 5, 2016.
Unlike the divisiveness that has plagued their opponents- the largest opposition NPP, Mr. Mahama intimated he’ll continue to be a unifying factor in the country and not tear Ghanaians apart.
Soliciting for massive votes from Ghanaians in the last rally that will wind up campaign for the ruling party, the President said:”I humbly ask for your mandate on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 to complete the journey that we all started together.”
According to him, the last four years has seen the stabilization of the country’s economy, resolved the power challenges and significantly improved the economic and social infrastructure of the country.
“He added:” I intend in my next opportunity to serve by the will of God and the Ghanaian people to focus on continuing the investment that we’ve made in improving our infrastructure and bringing our infrastructure up to middle income status.
“I also intend to focus on livelihoods and empowerment for the Ghanaian people and growing the Ghanaian private sector. I’ll use the government’s muscle to help the Ghanaian private sector to capture commanding heights of the Ghanaian economy.”
