I Used My First Term To Lay A Solid Foundation – Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama says he has used his first term in office to lay a solid foundation and so he deserves a second term to continue with his transformational agenda.

The president addressing electorates in the Central region yesterday said the achievements under his administration is remarkable hence he should be retained come December, 7 2016. The president was speaking at a rally held at Apam junction on his 5 days tour of the region. An elated Mahama said, ”I’m your junior brother, husband, uncle, and friend John Dramani Mahama.

You gave me a four year mandate in 2012 and come December 7, my term will elapse. I have laid a solid foundation in my first term and so you will have to give me another four year term to continue with my transformational agenda.

Another candidate is going around telling people to allow him build on my solid foundation but that will not be possible.

I have laid the foundation and I should be the one to continue building on that foundation.” President Mahama is currently in the region for a 5-day campaign tour.

While in the region, the leader of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will visit and pay courtesy calls on the various traditional councils, interact with identifiable groups and address party supporters.

Constituencies that will be visited in this tour include Agona East, Agona West, Gomoa East, Gomoa West, Gomoa Central, Ekumfi, Mfantseman and Cape Coast North.

The others are Cape Coast South, Ekumfi, Asikuma Odoben Brakwa, Ajumako Enyan Esiam, Bisease, Awutu Senya East, Awutu Senya West, and Komenda Edina Eguafo Abirem constituencies.
