Ghanaian comedian, DKB, known in real life as Derrick Kobina Bonney, says he believes the Communications Manager of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), George Quaye, did not take any bribe as being alleged.
The comedian in an interview with Entertainment Today said: “I don’t believe in the bribery scandal that Gospel musician, Ohemaa Mercy, was levelling against George Quaye.”
According to him, this whole thing about George Quaye taking bribe “annoys me honestly.”
“George Quaye has refused my appreciation so many times. Anytime he gets me a show by Charter House, and I try to show appreciation he will not take it even when I send him mobile money he refuses it,” he said.
“…I’m stunned by these allegations that he [George Quaye] takes bribes, even sometimes when I try to see him he dodges,” he added.
