Apostle Irene Adu Gyamfi, known as Mamalistic Mama, a preacher of the word of God and a gospel musician, has debunked rumours that she sold her song “Ebedane” for GH¢50,000 to President Nana Akufo-Addo and his New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Speaking on Anigye Mmre hosted by Christian Agyei Frimpong on Accra-based Onua 95.1 FM, Mamalistic Mama said: “I keep getting calls from media houses that I have taken GH¢50,000 from Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
“I want to use this opportunity to clear my name. I have not taken any money from NPP or NDC.
“I don’t support any political party in this country. No politician approached me on the song ‘Ebedane’,” she insisted.
“So, I don’t know where this is coming from.”
Mamalistic Mama has supported most gospel musicians especially during their album launches.
Her support comes in a form of raising funds for them.
Some of her songs making waves on radio and television include Amen, Nkunim, Aseda, Honhonkronkron, Me Boafo among others.
