Versatile Kumawood actress Nana Ama McBrown has revealed that she does not regret wearing one of the most talked about dresses at the weekend’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
According to her, the dress was given to her by the event organizer, Charterhouse, because she was to present an award that night.
She made this known while speaking to Miriam Osei-Agyemang on 3FM’s mid-morning show Urban Blend on the segment dubbed ‘Worker of the Week’.
Nana Ama McBrown was nominated as Worker of the Week by her fellow actress Akosua Kekeli of the ‘Efiewura’ Fame.
Asked how she felt about her being trolled on social media, she replied “I laughed because I was being compared to teletubbies”.
“It is so beautiful, it’s part of the job, you laugh over it and move on and it’s not something you need to take offense to.”
After last Saturday’s biggest music awards night, most Ghanaians took to social media to mock most of the dresses that were worn.
Some of the dresses were compared to interesting animations.
