The Founder and General Overseer of the Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah has dismissed rumours that he’s responsible for the spiritual protection of the Flagbearer of the largest opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo.
There have been allegations that the controversial prophet is reported to have said he’ll save Nana Akufo-Addo from being harmed by his opponents ahead of the December 7, polls.
“I will not sit down for anyone to kill Nana Addo. God has revealed to me the plots against him by some individual, but that won’t happen under my watch” he assured in an interview with Neat FM’
Rev Owusu Ansah publicly stated that he had revelation that some politicians, including NPP members, were conniving to kill the presidential candidate of the NPP, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, during his electioneering.
He is also quoted to have said that: “On election day, there will be a lot of gunshots at NPP strongholds and many will sustain injuries, while others will lose their lives. The NPP must beware”.
But in an interview with Kasapa News, Rev. Owusu Bempah stated that he’s mortal and cannot guarantee security for any human being, adding that the best security is provided only by the Almighty God.
“I’m worried that people are telling all manner of lies about me on the internet. People are saying that I claim I give Akufo Addo spiritual protection. That is not true…I’ve never said that anywhere. I’m not God to give any man protection. I hear they also allege that I said if Nana Addo goes to the Volta Region, he’ll be killed, that is totally false. Let’s find out from the Police if this claim came up when they invited me. We are one people, how can I say Ewes will kill Akufo-Addo, these people spreading falsehood are going to create a problem for me, I’m not tribalistic becuase I have Ewes in my church and have huge respect for them, I just can’t say such bad things about them.”
