Anas Aremeyaw Anas, the fearsome investigative journalist has revealed that he nearly lost his manhood during one of his undercover works at the Accra psychiatric hospital.
“I nearly died when I was doing the undercover work at the psychiatric hospital but I pressed the red button and my backup team came in to help. I remember after I had taken in all the cocaine and other stuff into my system as part of the work, I noticed my thing (manhood) wasn’t working. I called in doctors and they assured me that it will be back after a week but still, after a week nothing was happening and I was hot.
“Fortunately, they brought me some drugs from the UK and within two weeks, it was back on,” Anas told Bola Ray on Starr Chat Wednesday.
Anas’ latest two-year investigative piece on perceived corruption in Ghana’s judiciary, has implicated over 30 judges and magistrates, as well as judicial service staff.
His previous works, some of which exposed private companies and government agencies in corruption, thievery and embezzlement, have also earned him a lot of enemies.
