President Nana Akufo-Addo’s list of nominated ministers indicates that his government will have 29 substantive ministers.
Under Ghana’s fourth Republic, the number of Ministers who were appointed to serve varied under different governments.
While former President Jerry John Rawlings chose 19 and 25 ministers from 1993 to 2001 respectively to serve under his government, John Agyekum Kufuor had 31 ministers serving from 2001 to 2008.
