Ghanaian hip-life artiste, Omanhene Pozo, has died. He died at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra Wednesday dawn.
Pozo who was a member of one of the foremost hip-life groups in Ghana in the 90s, Nananon, was said to have been unwell since November 2015, and has been frequently hospital for medical attention until his death.
Reports say he was suffering from a brain tumor and a deterioration of his condition caused doctors to hospitalise him.
Pozo’s former group member, Barima Sydney, confirmed news of the death of the musician to 3News.

After their smash hit ‘Nana Kasa’ was a massive hit. However, Omahene Pozo left the group to pursue a solo career that saw him perform and do collaborations with some of the country’s high life legends including Awurama Badu and Alhaji K. Frimpong.
