Stephen Asamoah Boateng, a former Minister of Information under the New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration, has said the only achievement of Hanna Tetteh as Foreign Minister is the infamous transfer of Guantanamo Bay detainees.
Speaking at a political rally at Awutu Senya West in the Central Region over the Weekend, the former MP for Mfantsiman said the minister who doubles as the Member of Parliament for the area, has no good plans for the people, saying she only brought in “Guantanamo Bay prisoners into the country”.
He further claimed that Madam Tetteh, after winning the seat in 2012, has only been globe-trotting adding that she has not embarked on any serious development agenda .
According to him, the minister has once again showed up in the constituency because of the upcoming election .
“As an MP, when your constituents vote for you, you think of them and not abandon them and come later when its election time”.
He then appealed to the electorate to consider voting for George Andah, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for the area.
