Black Stars coach Avram Grant has named a fairly same side for Ghana’s Group D game against Mali.
Injured Baba Rahman’s place has been taken by Frank Opoku Acheampong just like in the 1-0 win over Uganda last Tuesday.
The Black Stars are looking for a win in Saturday’s game at Stade de Port-Gentil in order to book a place in the quarter-final of the tournament.
The team will be led by Captain Asamoah Gyan.
Andre Dede Ayew and Harrison Afful, who were reported indisposed with Malaria, have recovered to play in the game, which kicks off at 1600GMT.
Grant, in his pre-match press conference, said he knows Alain Giresse’s team quite well.
“We played a friendly against Mali that ended in a 1-1 draw in Paris,” he said. “They are a good and well-organised team but we know what we want to do.”
He said Mali “is a good and very physical team but I don’t think we are a weak one either”.
