Gospel artiste and judge on TV3’s gospel reality show ‘Celebrations’, Nii Okai, believes Season IV of this year’s competition is expected to produce some pleasant surprises.
The show with the catch phrase ‘Heavens Must Hear’ took off two weeks ago and has ten choral groups competing heads-on over the next ten weeks with various inspirational gospel songs.
Speaking exclusively to 3news.com, the renowned gospel musician described the reality show as an extraordinary one.
“All across the world, great musicians trace their origin to church, music and more specifically choral music.
“This is the reason why Celebrations is not just any ordinary reality show but a great platform to develop minstrels why enriching the faith through choral music.
“I think we are in for pleasant surprises and I believe many more gifted choirs will start booking their spots before we are even done with this season”.
Celebrations, which has won the admiration of many Ghanaians, is sponsored by a number of institutions including Sasso insecticides spray & coil, Enapa Mackerel, Gettol, Heaven Perfume long grain rice, Taabea Herbal Mixture and Capsules, Ecowash Washing Powder and Paladin security doors.
The rest are Solid Dynamic, Latter House Glory, Voices of Mission, Echoes of Praise, Prophetic Sanctuary and the Pure Perfect Crew.
