The founder and head pastor of God’s Crown Chapel Prophet Reindolph Oduro Gyebi popularly called ‘Eagle Prophet’ has disclosed that he refused to pray to avert the Kintampo disaster because God did not instruct him to do so.
Prophet Oduro who prophesised on Abusua FM on March 13, 2017 about the Kintampo disaster where about 20 students and revellers were killed when a tree from the uphill fell on them has heavily been criticised by a section of Ghanaians for refusing to pray to prevent the disaster.
But speaking with Lantam Papanko on Ultimate Breakfast Show, he indicated that God only ordered him to warn the schools to stop embarking on the excursion or change their venue.
The prophet who said he has been very sad after the incident blamed one of the schools authorities who listened to him when he was prophesying but failed to act.
He revealed that he didn’t know the schools that were going on the excursion but the prophesy was an accurate one.
‘I saw it like I was watching TV, after receiving the message, I hit it up, this scripture of God reveals to redeem must be well addressed. The redemption that God gives to us, sometimes, he would say pray and stop it, but this one was a direct one, he said, tell them to they should stop. If its would have been prayer, that is my work God has called me.
I will not say the person who was listening to me, did not act, there were lots of things running through my spirits that day. Either the person heard it and took it as one of those prophecies, or refused to tell the message, or heard the message and said they could pray about it.
The good thing is that if God wants to save you, he brings you on the right line and alert you on certain things. The person knew it, I didn’t know the schools, but if God wanted me to directly go to them, he would have revealed to me, the prophesy was on point, nothing was missed. I have done my job of what God just told me, what is prayer, I am a prophet and I go by instructions, I don’t do things out of my own power, people should take this,’ he explained.
The ‘Eagle Prophet’ advised Ghanaians to desist from being obstinate to God’s prophecies calling for a national prayer for the country.
