GN Bank has opened another branch at Abura Dunkwa in the Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese (AAK) District of the Central Region.
The new addition brings to a total 32 branches of the bank in the region, and almost 300 throughout the country.
Commissioning the branch officially at Abura Dunkwa last Tuesday, President of Groupe Nduom (GN), Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, indicated that GN Bank is the people’s bank, hence their resolve to bring it to the doorstep of Ghanaians by opening more branches.
He pointed out that GN Bank is the only bank fully owned by Ghanaians, adding that in the near future the bank will serve as an IMF for the country when the economy is in crisis.
He disclosed that the bank is already operating in Togo, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Benin, Burkina Faso and will soon be in every country in West Africa.
Dr. Nduom stressed that the bank does not condone thus Ghanaians have nothing to fear in dealing with the bank.
He implored Ghanaians to support the GN brand, saying by supporting the GN they are helping to create employment for the ordinary Ghanaian.
Omankrado of Abura Ansofona, Nana Munko Eku VIII, who graced the occasion, charged staff members of the bank to distinguish themselves from the other banks since a lot of people have lost trust in banks and other financial institutions due to the DKM saga.
“You have to work hard to prove them wrong and win back their confidence,” he added.
