THE Joe Ghartey-led Committee investigating the alleged bribery scandal that rocked Parliament’s Appointments Committee is expected to present its final report on Wednesday, March 29, 2017.
This was disclosed by the acting Director of Public Affairs of Parliament, Madam Kate Addo, through a statement.
The release of the report delayed after a member of the House applied to provide fresh evidence on the matter to the Committee.
This was after the committee was just about to wrap up on its investigations.
It would be recalled that the deadline for the submission of the report was overdue, but the committee still had to take the evidence of the interested party to prevent suspicion of bias.
The 5-member committee was set up following allegations that the Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko, bribed some members of the Appointments Committee
