Ghana has joined the grand celebration of Nigeria 56th Independence Day anniversary today.
Top actors Yvonne Nelson wished Nigeria well on their Independence Day while Kafui Dey, a radio presenter, John Dumelo and sensational songstress Efya favorited shares on Nigeria’s Independence Day posts on Twitter.
Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo on this occasion has said that though Nigeria may not have reached where they want it to be, the country has made a bit of progress.
“As a country, we may not be where we want to be yet but we are not where we used to be,” the post read.
Though opinions differ on the current state of the country, Nigerians, have taken to twitter to wish their country well to preserve the country’s unity for national development.
