One of the staunchest celebrity loyalists of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mzbel has said that Ghana will collapse, should the New Patriotic Party’s flagbearer, Nana Addo win the election.
Speaking in a video interview with Ghanapoliticsonline.com, the popular female musician urged all Ghanaians to vote for President John Dramani Mahama, the NDC presidential candidate.
Touting President Mahama’s developmental projects, Mzbel pointed out that she has never seen a president who came and transformed the country to the extent Mahama has done just in his first four years in office.
Making mention of the numerous projects accomplished under the Mahama administration such as roads, schools, well equipped hospitals, fishermen and market women welfare, etc., she said evidences that show that Mahama is the chosen one for the presidency is everywhere for everyone to see.
Mzbel stated categorically that Nana Addo is not a presidential material. Reiterating her usual logo that many are called but few are chosen, she said that Nana Addo won’t win the election. She however said that should he eventually will, what will just happen is that Ghana will collapse. Buttressing her point amidst deriding chuckles, Mzbel said that if Nana Addo becomes the president of Ghana, the country will just fall the way Nana Addo falls whenever he stands.
She went on to ask how Ghanaians will ever chose to elect someone who does not have the ability to manage his “small party” to come and rule the entire nation. She then urged all Ghanaians to vote for peace, the NDC, and JDM, adding that the “future of our kids” is at stake”.
Mzbel also appealed to all who are campaigning for peace to practice peace instead of just paying a lip service. She therefore advised all not to flood her Facebook wall with abuses just because of her political inclinations.
