Honourable Nenyi George Andah will on Sunday, January 15, 2017 interact with his cherished constituents. Mr Andah on Thursday, January 12, took to his Facebook page to announce a digital town hall meeting. He and urged his constituents to participate in discussions about the development of Awutu Senya West during the interaction.
Let’s hit the ground running…….its all about …..The Agenda for Change, Creating Prosperity and Equal Opportunities for All. This Sunday afternoon, 14:00 to 15:00 gmt, we connect for the #PowerToDoMore
He posted, with the schedule for the event.
New Patriotic Party’s George Andah beat the former MP for Awutu-Senya West, Hanna Tetteh who was also the Minister of Foreign Affairs And Regional Integration. He got 28,867 votes while Ms Tetteh got 25,664 votes.
Andah had entered into the race an underdog, having been described as a novice who knows nothing about politics. The incumbent Hannah Tetteh had been very optimistic of retaining her seat for the NDC; due to her influential position as the Minister of Foreign Affairs. More so, Hannah Tetteh believed she would maintain the seat, having been the MP for the constituency for three consecutive terms.
But to her greatest surprise, NDC’s Hannah Tetteh lost to the man she least expected to win the Awutu Senya West seat.
Hon. George Andah as we can see, has shown he is fully committed to serving his constituents. The newly elected MP who shared his second day in parliament with his constituency via Facebook live, has consistently provided online platforms for his constituents to reach out to him. Andah has assured his followers of his accessibility during the digital town hall meeting slated for Sunday.
