Two people were injured in a gas explosion which occurred at Dansoman on Monday, near the Wesley Grammar Senior High School. The injured persons have been rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
An eyewitness, Priscilla Amanda Aggrey, who spoke to Citi News stated that the explosion occurred around 6am at a gas station situated close to a fuel station in the area.
According to her, “a car was packed by the gas tank so as soon as the driver sparked the engine, the gas tank began to leak. The tank then exploded and two people were injured.”
Ms. Aggrey complained that the location of the gas station poses a serious threat to residents in the area.
She therefore pleaded with authorities to take immediate steps to safeguard lives and properties.
