The ‘Thinking Out Loud‘ crooner was speaking with hosts of popular U. S. morning show The Breakfast Club Friday morning.
“I did spend some time in Ghana… I went over to Ghana for about three weeks and collaborated with an artiste over there called Fuse ODG and he is a very very talented Afro beats artiste.”
They worked together on Bibia Be Ye Ye, a song off Sheeran’s new album Divide.
In mid 2016, Grammy winning Singer and Songwriter Ed Sheeran travelled to Ghana on what people close to him said was seeking him “new-to-him influences for his upcoming music.”
During his stay in the West African country, he stayed with Afrobeats star Fuse ODG, recording new music with the latter and also with R2Bees and rapper E. L.
He’s spoken about his experiences living in Ghana with BBC and other media houses.
In early February 2017, he released the visuals of his song Shape of You off his recently released album Divide. The visual finds Sheeran in the boxing gym training, other scenes sees him showing off the tattoo of the Ghana flag on his stomach.
