Member of Parliament for Jomoro Constituency in the Western Region, Honorable Paul Essein has revealed his plans to organise ‘Free’ remedial studies for Senior High School Students.
The class is expected to take effect in April 2017 and give a second chance to students who failed the West African Senior School Certificate Examination ( WASSCE)
“It is free because I am going to pay the teachers who will take them through the studies”. Hon Paul Essien explained.
Speaking to the media, Hon Paul Essein stated that he has education at heart hence the need to initiate a laudable education program.
“My aim is to help students who were unable to sail through their WASSCE examination successfully in my constituency, to better their grades and further their education to the highest level”. Hon Paul Essien stated.
He advised students to take their studies seriously and use this opportunity to redeem themselves. “A failure in a subject or two should not be a barrier in your educational life. Successful people always have stories to tell because “in life we stoop to concur”
Speaking to Daniel Kaku (Freelance Journalist) on Tuesday 14th of March,2017. He urged the youth to disregard the misconception that a fail in Science, Mathematics, English or other subjects is a fail in life.
The MP , also a deputy minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs pledged to work hard for his country as well as bringing prestige to his constituents and the good people of Nzema.
