Although Mr. Brempong has not revealed why he sent the “goodies” to the campus, his face and the NDC logo are boldly printed on the sachets. It is however perceived that Mr Brempong made the move to motivate the students to vote for him in the coming elections.
The NDC parliamentary hopeful for Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, Delali Akwasi Brempong is seeking to unseat the incumbent MP, Emmanuel Agyarko of the NPP.

Also, the Legon electoral area, holds the highest number of registered voters in the constituency. The area has become a hot spot for politicians during electioneering periods, as it is seen as significant in determining the ultimate winner of the seat.
Contending parties in recent times, have had their respective campaign trails touch down the area to make their presence felt in the constituency. Interestingly, the incumbent MP, Emmanuel Agyarko who is seeking reelection has been spotted many times, urging them to vote him to remain the Member of Parliament for the constituency.
