Former Northern Regional Minister Is A Stomach Politician

Northern Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Sofo Awudu Azorka, has described a former Northern Regional Minister Stephen Sumani Nayina as a stomach politician.

Mr Nayina who was a minister for the region under President John Evans Atta Mills when the National Democratic Congress (NDC) assumed office in 2009, is seen in the 6 minutes, 7 seconds video addressing party supporters in Mampruli at Kparigu a farming community in the Walewale Constituency on why they need to vote for the NPP.

According to the former board member of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), President Mahama will be shown the exit from the presidency on December 7 whether he agrees to the decision of the masses or otherwise.

“Whether John Mahama likes it or not he will cease to be our President. Mahama Bole will not be our President after December 7. If it is about to rain, it starts with a storm. The signs are clear from across the country. You all know me; I was a staunch NDC member. We were those in the trenches clearing the path for the late Atta Mills which ensured he won the 2008 elections and has since been succeeded by John Mahama. It will surprise many of you I am here speaking about the NPP today. I don’t want money but I am not rich. I am looking for the progress for Mamprugu so all those seeking the welfare of the area whether from NPP, NDC, NDP, PNC, PPP must join forces.

The forthcoming elections will set the stage for the development of Mamprugu to also experience the presidency. It would have been prudent we vote and NDC will not get a single vote. So if you all fail to contribute, you could be left out and may not enjoy the benefits thereof. It is incumbent on us to vote for NPP for Nana Addo to be President, Dr Bawumia as Vice President and Dr Sagri to become an MP and a Minister.

NDC is already dead. I am an experienced driver and if I am driving a vehicle and it is not moving towards the right direction I know”

But Azorka says the conduct of the minister betrays his persona describing him as a disgrace to the umbrella family.

According to him if the former minister was, he would not have divorced his relationship with the NDC having been given the opportunity to serve as a minister.

“He is a stomach politician so let him go. He is not a true NDC member that is why he has done that. The NPP will lose the December 7 polls and we will see where he and the party will go”, he told ultimatefmonline.com in an exclusive interview.
